Metoyer Still Planning to Play This Fall

Despite some rumors online today, "five-star recruit Trey Metoyer still plans to play football at Oklahoma in the fall," the Oklahoman reports.
"Metoyer is enrolled in summer classes at Tyler Junior College in an attempt to qualify academically to play at OU.

"Danny Palmer, the head football coach at Tyler Junior College, said Metoyer is taking two classes, but has not signed a national letter of intent to play there.

"'Metoyer is enrolled in classes up here to get his grade point average up,' Palmer said. 'He is working out here, which is fine with us. There are no rules with him not working out here because he is not on scholarship here.'"
