"Oklahoma has had a history of producing some stellar running backs: Adrian Peterson and DeMarco Murray come to mind off the top of our heads. With that in mind, keep an eye on Brandon Williams. The 6-foot, 190-pound freshman from Texas could turn some heads in Norman. Ranked third in the nation by both Rivals and Scout, Williams rushed for 2,438 yards and 33 touchdowns for Brookshire Royal High last season. He was the Texas state champion in the 200-meter dash with a time of 21.44. With a backfield consisting of Roy Finch and Brennan Clay, Williams won’t be required to carry the load of the rushing duties for head coach Bob Stoops. Brandon Williams a Freshman to Watch
