As we reported last week, linebacker Kellen Jones “has transferred from Michigan to Oklahoma and is eligible to play for the Sooners this season,” the Oklahoman reports.
The move was made official today with the following statement from Head Coach Bob Stoops:
“We are excited to add Kellen to our program,” Stoops said. “Obviously he's in a learning phase right now, but he has very good physical skill and is someone who can contribute to our program.”
Jones is a freshman and did not play at Michigan. He was ranked No. 12 nationally at the middle linebacker position by Scout.
Rivals ranked him No. 29 nationally as an inside linebacker.
