The Sooners are ranked #1 in the USA Today Preseason Top 25 Coaches Poll which was released today. OU received 42 first-place votes. Other first-place vote getters included Alabama (13), Oregon (2) and LSU (2).
As for the Big 12, Oklahoma State (#8), Texas A&M (#9), Missouri (#21) and Texas (#24) were also included in the preseason poll.
