Rivals.com ranks OU punter Tress Way as the fifth-best player at his position heading into the 2011 season.
“He averaged 44.0 yards per attempt and helped the Sooners rank fifth in net punting (40.5). He averaged 45.7 yards per attempt as a freshman in 2009 and owns a career average of 45.4 yards. He had an 85-yard punt against Utah State last season, when he also shared duties as the kickoff man. His brother, Cole, a 6-foot-8 true freshman, is expected to handle punting duties for Tulsa. OU opens with Tulsa on Sept. 3.”
