The Oklahoman notes that linebacker Travis Lewis has been sidelined for “four weeks by a broken toe.” It was estimated by OU that he’d be out about eight weeks.
So where do things stand now? Head Coach Bob Stoops provided an update earlier this week:
“He seems to really be progressing well,” Stoops said. “What that means, it doesn't really mean anything right now. He's still in a boot. They feel it's continuing to heal. We'll see next week if there's any difference.”
It’s still unlikely he would be available to play against Florida State.
