Haywood Trying to Come Back

Sophomore tight end Austin Haywood “is trying to re-join the team, but the process is far from complete,” according to the Norman Transcript.

“’We’ll see if he’s going to be successful or not. He’s got a ways to go,’ Stoops said.

“Stoops didn’t outline the specifics of the process, but said it generally falls under the terms of Haywood following well-established rules.

“’It’s doing what you’re supposed to do off the field, attending class and tutoring, being on time, attending the weight workouts, completing them the proper way, being on time, showing up for practice and working hard, having a good attitude,’ Stoops said. ‘Not that hard. Just do what you’re supposed to do and meet all of your obligations.’”
