Sources tell UCFSports.com that OU and Central Florida are “close to finalizing a home-and-home series which would begin next season in Orlando.”
“The Sooners would replace Kansas State, who has already informed UCF they intend to buy out of next year's return game. The UCF-OU matchup would likely be scheduled for late September.”
OU needs a non-conference game for next season because the already-scheduled matchup against TCU will now be a conference game.
