Junior defensive end Ronnell Lewis wants to play against Oklahoma State on Saturday, but Head Coach Bob Stoops told reporters yesterday that he would likely never be cleared by the medical staff.
“As much as he wants to, I don’t think he’d ever be cleared,” Stoops said. “It hurts more than he wants (you) to know. You know what I mean? Those things take a while. I don’t see that happening.”
