Whaley Not Likely to Return for Spring Practices

Head Coach Bob Stoops “said Tuesday running back Dominique Whaley will rehab his fractured left ankle as usual, but probably won’t be able to participate in practice next spring,” according to the Tulsa World.

“I don’t believe it’ll be in the spring (when he returns),” Stoops said during his weekly press conference. “It’ll be in fall. I mean, he’ll be working on it, he’ll be progressing through it, but I don’t see him being on the field in the spring. I wouldn’t think.”
