Junior walk-on running back Dominique Whaley will “be put on scholarship in December,” Head Coach Bob Stoops confirmed to reporters after Monday’s practice.
Stoops told Whaley after the Kansas State game in which he fractured his ankle. A full recovery is expected before next season.
“He had surgery Sunday morning and a pin inserted into his ankle, but is expected to make a full recovery and be ready before next season.”
