Metoyer Expected on Campus Soon

Wide receiver recruit Trey Metoyer “said on Twitter late in the week that he had been accepted by OU,” according to The Oklahoman.

He is “expected on campus sometime this week.”

“Sooners receiver Kenny Stills asked Metoyer on Friday if he was on the way.

“’I'm coming, bro, for real,’ he told Stills. ‘We're doing it this year. New year, baby.’

“Metoyer, originally in the 2011 class, spent the past semester at Hargrave Military in Virginia. He dealt some with an ankle injury there, but it's not expected to be of any consequence for winter workouts or spring practice. Class begins Tuesday at OU.”
