Running back David Smith (Bremen High School – Illinois) “verbally committed to Oklahoma” today, ESPN reports. He chose the Sooners over West Virginia.
Smith is the “19th member of the 2012 class and the 14th on offense.”
ESPN’s recruiting service rates him as a three-star prospect as does Rivals.
