Regents Approve Three-Year Contract for Mike Stoops

The University of Oklahoma Board of Regents “voted Friday to give Mike Stoops a three-year contract as the Sooners' defensive coordinator,” according to The Oklahoman.

“Under the contract, Stoops will receive a base salary of $245,000, $355,000 for personal services and fundraising activities and an annual bonus of $50,000 for each year Stoops remains at the university.

“The contract also includes a $60,000 performance bonus for winning the BCS National Championship.”
