Metoyer Making Good Progress

As reported earlier this week, top OU recruit Trey Metoyer (WR) is currently taking two classes at Tyler Junior College in an effort to qualify academically.

According to the Tyler Morning Telegraph, it sounds like things are moving in a positive direction:
"David Metoyer said by text message the two classes are Trey’s final step to qualify for OU, and he expects his son to move to Norman next month.

"TJC football coach Danny Palmer said while he is enrolled, Trey Metoyer is working out at the Apaches’ facilities. Palmer also said he expects Metoyer to be at OU soon after his classes are completed.

"'It really looks like he’s going to be at Oklahoma because he’s doing real well in the two classes he’s in,' Palmer said. 'He’s paying his own way, and he’s a student so he can use the facilities. It looks like it’s going to work out for Oklahoma, and we really hope it does.'"
