Top OU wide receiver recruit Trey Metoyer will attend and play football for Hargrave Military Academy in Virginia this fall, ESPN’s Jake Trotter reports.
Metoyer had academic issues and was forced to take classes at a junior college over the summer to fulfill some missing high school credits. He reportedly passed his classes, but the clearing process just didn’t work out in regards to matching up credits from the college with the requirements of his high school.
He expects to be in Norman in January and does not plan to re-open his recruitment. Metoyer was rated by Rivals.com as a five-star recruit and the No. 2 wide receiver nationally.
