OU Releases Updated Depth Chart

OU released an updated game week depth chart today. Some notes:

• Starting offensive line: Donald Stephenson (LT), Gabe Ikard (LG), Ben Habern (C), Tyler Evans (RG), Daryl Williams (RT)
• Trey Franks is the third starter at wide receiver along with Ryan Broyles and Kenny Stills. True freshman Kameel Jackson is backing up Franks.
• Starting running back is listed as Brennan Clay OR walk-on Dominique Whaley. Roy Finch is backing them up.
• Despite lingering eligibility questions, Ronnell Lewis is still listed as a starting defensive end.
• Kellen Jones, a true freshman who transferred from Michigan after the start of fall camp, is listed as a backup along with Jaydan Bird for starting middle linebacker Tom Wort.
• More walk-ons! Along with Whaley, walk-on Caleb Gastelum is listed along with Aaron Franklin as a backup to Corey Nelson at weakside linebacker. Meanwhile, Jesse Paulsen is listed as a backup along with Quentin Hayes to strong safety Aaron Colvin.  Franklin and Hayes are, of course, on scholarship.
• Franks and Clay are doing kickoff returns.
• Along with Jones and Jackson, Nila Kasitati is the only other true freshman listed on the depth chart. He is backing up Tyler Evans at right guard.
