Senior offensive tackle Jarvis Jones “is expected to play Saturday night against Missouri,” The Oklahoman reports. He suffered a serious knee injury in the spring.
Coach Stoops said it’s “uncertain whether Jones will immediately regain his starting right tackle job.”
“Jarvis has really worked hard. He's done an awesome job rehabbing,” Stoops said. “He must be a quick healer. He hasn't had any setbacks. He took some snaps last week and felt good.”
Bruce Kittle, who coaches tight ends and tackles for the Sooners, confirmed yesterday that Jones would likely play this week.
