Quarterback Landry Jones "passed former Heisman Trophy winner Jason White on OU’s career passing yards list with his first throw of the night [against Tulsa], surpassing White’s total of 7,922 yards," the Oklahoma Daily reports.
Jones finished the night with "375 yards for a total of 8,291." Former Sooner quarterback Sam Bradford, who was also a Heisman winner, "left OU with 8,403 career yards — the most in school history and just 112 more than Jones."
