Sporting News ranks OU quarterback Landry Jones and wide receiver Ryan Broyles as the top duo in college football.
“There are wideouts who pass the eyeball test, and the short, skinny Broyles definitely isn't one of them. But blink and you might miss four or five of his catches. Jones and Broyles are so in [sync] that they connected 14 times in the Sooners' opening win over Tulsa despite not going the distance in a 33-point blowout. If it's third down, forget it—the terrific Jones is going to his guy, and you can't stop them.”
