Sophomore offensive lineman Gabe Ikard “was named to the Capital One Academic All-America® Division I football team, as chosen by the College Sports Information Directors of America, the organization announced Thursday,” according to an official OU release.
“Ikard, one of just three sophomores on the squad, joins nine others on the first and second teams with a GPA of at least 4.0. The Oklahoma City native has been instrumental on an offensive line that has allowed just nine sacks this season.”
