Sophomore wide receiver Jaz Reynolds “and two other key Sooners will miss the Insight Bowl against Iowa on Dec. 30,” according to the Tulsa World.
Reynolds, freshman fullback Aaron Ripkowski and freshman running back Brandon Williams will “sit out the bowl game due to injuries.”
“We’ve had some significant injuries over the last half of the season, but this is an opportunity for other players,” Stoops said in a news release. “We’re excited about our trip to Tempe and the opportunity we’ve got to reach 10 wins.”
Reynolds “suffered a kidney injury against Oklahoma State and has been hospitalized for the last seven days” while “Ripkowski has a back injury and Williams has an injury to his neck.”
