Mike Stoops confirmed to KOLD News in Arizona that he is in fact coming back to OU. This has pretty much been the worst kept secret around the program of late but it’s still newsworthy to finally hear some type of official word from the man himself.
No announcement from the university is expected until defensive backs coach Willie Martinez accepts a position at another school. Such a move will likely take place very soon.
